1. Build one roster sheet. List each player's name exactly as it should appear, their number, and their size, marked youth or adult.
2. Check spellings and duplicates. Double-check nicknames, apostrophes and hyphenated names, and make sure no two players share a number unless they should.
3. Choose the layout. Common placements are a number 8 to 10 inches tall on the back, a name arched or straight across the shoulders in letters about 2 to 3 inches tall, and a smaller number on a sleeve.

The shared team logo is usually screen printed (on orders of 100+) or embroidered, since it's the same on every hoodie. Individual names and numbers are decorated piece by piece, often with DTF, which has no setup fee, so each hoodie can carry different text without extra setup costs. For thread and ink, send your Pantone (PMS) numbers or hex codes, and we'll match them as closely as possible in thread or ink.

Youth-to-Adult Sizing for Whole Rosters

Youth leagues, middle schools and family booster orders need sizes from small kids to big adults in one matching run. Youth hoodies usually run XS to XL, and we carry adult sizes through 5XL and beyond. Choose a style that comes in both youth and adult cuts so the fabric color stays consistent across the team. Print size matters as much as hoodie size. A back design about 11 to 12 inches wide suits adult sizes but swallows a youth small. With DTF, each size can be scaled individually at no setup cost. With screen printing, one print size often covers youth large through adult XL, and a smaller version for little kids uses the same design, so there's no new setup fee.

Roster Deadlines, Size Runs and Team Pricing

Team orders slow down when sizes trickle in. A few habits keep things moving: - Set a size deadline a couple of weeks before you need the hoodies, and collect everything on one sheet. - Order one fit sample if players are unsure between sizes. With no minimum, a single hoodie is easy to add. - Plan for latecomers. Because there's no minimum and your design is on file, a new player's hoodie can be ordered later in the same design. Reorders of the same design skip both the $35 digitizing fee and any screen setup. - Tell us your in-hand date when you request a quote, such as a first game or tournament. If the date is tight, rush orders are available, and the rush fee is quoted with your order.

Team pricing improves with roster size because setup is shared. An embroidered logo carries a one-time $35 digitizing fee, which works out to $1.75 of setup per player on a 20-player roster, while DTF names and numbers add no setup at all. Do you make hockey hoodies with laces?

No, we don't offer hockey hoodies with laces at the neck. For a hockey look, we recommend a pullover with the team crest on the front and the player's number on the back and sleeve. Those custom team hoodies work as well for rink parents as they do for players.

Are performance hoodies better than fleece for practice?
