The club sweatshirt is usually the first thing a student organization orders and the piece members wear most. Honor societies, nursing and engineering cohorts, dorm floors, student government, band, dance, service clubs and intramural teams all lean on the same formula: the group's name, a simple graphic and a year.

Designs that look right on a college crewneck:

• Arched lettering across the chest in a varsity block or collegiate serif, the classic campus look
• An "Est." line with the year your club was founded
• A left-chest mark plus a large back graphic, which works at recruitment tables where people see you from every side

On knits we use a water-soluble topping and soft backing so stitches sit on top of the yarn instead of sinking between the loops. The varsity sweatshirt is the fleece cousin: a crewneck with arched lettering and a number or year. It's lighter and far more practical for a Central Florida winter.

Personalized Graduation and Class-Year Sweatshirts

A graduation sweatshirt gets worn long after the ceremony. Popular ideas:

• The graduate's name and class year on the front, with the degree or major down a sleeve
• The whole class's names on the back for senior classes, nursing cohorts and graduate programs
• A first-day photo beside a last-day photo, printed in full color with DTF

The stitch file stays downloadable in your account, and when next year's officers reorder the same design, they skip both fees. DTF has no setup fee.

Licensing: What We Can and Can't Print

University names used as marks, logos, seals, mascots and athletic wordmarks are trademarks, and schools control them through licensing programs. Reproducing those marks takes the owner's license or written approval.

Right now we focus on designs that don't need a collegiate license:

• Club, department, dorm and intramural designs built from artwork you own
• Graduation and class-year designs with names, years and degrees
• Original collegiate-style lettering that doesn't copy an official logo

We don't reproduce official university logos, seals or mascots.
