Custom Embroidered Scrubs & Medical Office Apparel

Custom embroidered scrubs give a medical, dental or veterinary practice one consistent look, with the practice logo and each person's name stitched on tops, jackets and lab coats. We carry scrub tops and pants, warm-up jackets and lab coats in women's and men's cuts. Scrubs and lab coats are ordered through a bulk quote or by contacting us, and team polos, tees and quarter-zips can be designed in our 3D Custom Designer.

Scrubs are part of our medical and work uniforms range, and this collection brings our custom medical clothing together in one place. This page covers what we embroider, where the logo and name belong, how stitching holds up to daily washing and how to order for a whole practice without surprises on setup fees.

Scrub Tops, Jackets and Lab Coats We Embroider

Scrub tops and pants

The top carries the decoration; pants usually stay plain. Scrub tops come in V-neck and mock-wrap styles, in poly-cotton and stretch blends. Stretch fabric is comfortable through a long shift, but it moves under the needle, so we back every design with stabilizer to keep the logo flat. We decorate only the scrubs we supply, so the whole team starts from the same garments and colors.

Warm-up scrub jackets and vests

Snap-front warm-up jackets and vests cover scrubs in cold exam rooms and on the walk in from the parking lot. They take the same logo as the tops, and the same design on another garment never pays setup again.

Lab coats with practice logo and name

Lab coats carry the logo on the left chest and the clinician's name and credentials, such as "Dr. Ana Ruiz, DDS", on the right chest or above the pocket. A long white coat also has room for a department line under the name.

Where the Logo and Name Go on Scrubs

Scrubs with a logo and name follow a few rules of their own; our page on logo embroidery for work uniforms covers digitizing and thread choices in general.

Left chest, right chest or sleeve

The usual layout puts the practice logo on the left chest and the staff member's name on the right. Some practices stack logo and name together on the left, and some add a department or specialty on a sleeve. There's no single correct side; choose one layout and keep it identical on every top.

Sizing a logo for a scrub pocket

Most scrub tops have a chest pocket. Embroider above it, never on it, because stitching through a pocket sews it shut. Keep the logo a little smaller than you would on a polo so it sits on the flat panel and lies smoothly on lighter fabric. Bold, simple marks stitch cleanest at this size; text shorter than about a quarter inch fills in. Each design area can use up to 9 thread colors.

Embroidery That Stands Up to Daily Washing

Scrubs are washed after nearly every shift, so decoration has to survive far more laundry than an office shirt sees. Embroidery has no ink to crack or peel, which is why it's the standard for scrubs and lab coats. To keep it looking new, wash tops inside out, follow the care label on water temperature and bleach, and if a top needs pressing, iron from the back rather than directly on the stitching. High dryer heat on stretch blends can pucker the fabric around a logo, so a medium setting is kinder to both.

Dental, Veterinary and Front-Desk Team Apparel

Polos and quarter-zips for the front desk

Front-desk and billing staff often skip scrubs. Embroidered business polos in the practice color match the clinical team, and quarter-zip pullovers handle chilly reception areas. These you can design yourself in our 3D Custom Designer, embroidered or printed.

Fun team-day shirts for dental offices

Dental office shirts for team days, health fairs, school visits and community runs can be more playful than scrubs. A soft tee with a tooth or paw icon, the practice name and a friendly line on the back works well, and our office team tees come in women's, men's and unisex fits. DTF print has no setup fee, so a short run for one event is easy.

Color-Coding Scrubs by Role

Some practices give each role its own scrub color (clinicians, assistants, front desk) so patients can tell who's who at a glance. Others keep one color and let embroidered titles do the work. If you color-code, keep the branded look consistent by picking one thread color that reads on every scrub color: the same design across garments never pays setup again, but a different thread color is a new design and a new $35.

Ordering Scrubs for a Practice: Sizes, Names and Reorders

Personalized scrubs start with a roster: each person's name exactly as it should appear, credentials, role, top and pant size, and cut. Double-check spellings before anything is stitched, because embroidery is permanent.

Be clear about name costs up front. Every embroidered name is $10 per item with our name and monogram embroidery service, so a practice embroidering 20 names pays $200 for the names, plus the garments. There's no design fee for names. The logo is different: one $35 setup, never repeated on reorders or other garments.

For 100+ pieces, request a bulk quote with your roster attached. You get a dedicated account manager, a free mockup with unlimited revisions and our best volume pricing, and we'll lay out the full setup total before you approve. For a smaller scrub order, email help@bizzystitchn.com or call (407) 391-5526. Rush orders are available for a fee quoted with your order; tell us your in-hand date and we'll confirm it before you approve. Orlando-area customers can pick up finished orders at our warehouse, or we'll ship anywhere in the US.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you embroider scrubs?

Yes, on the scrubs we supply. We carry scrub tops, pants, jackets and lab coats and embroider your practice logo and staff names on them. We don't embroider scrubs you already own, including retail pairs bought elsewhere, because we decorate only the garments we supply. Order through a bulk quote for 100+ pieces, or contact us for a smaller order.

What side of the scrubs does the embroidery go on?

Usually the practice logo goes on the left chest, where a polo logo sits, and the name and credentials go on the right. Some practices stack the logo and name together on the left side instead. Either works; what matters is using the same layout on every top so the whole team looks matched.

Where should our logo go on scrubs?

On the flat panel above the left chest pocket. Stitching on the pocket itself can sew it shut, so the logo sits just above it. Keep it a little smaller than a polo logo so it lies smoothly on lighter scrub fabric. A sleeve works for a second mark, such as a department or specialty.

How much does it cost to embroider scrubs?

Garment prices are on each product page. Setup is a one-time $35 per embroidered logo or artwork design, and each embroidered name is $10 per item. A $35 logo setup spread across 1, 12 or 48 tops adds $35, about $2.92 or about $0.73 a top, and reorders never pay it again. Our guide to what embroidery costs explains how stitch count, size and placement affect price.

Can you add each staff member's name?

Yes. Each embroidered name is $10 per item, with no design fee. Attach the full roster, credentials included, to your bulk quote, and check every spelling on the free mockup before production. Printed names are an option on team tees and carry no setup fee.

Can embroidery be removed from scrubs later?

Treat it as permanent. Stitches can be picked out, but removal usually leaves needle holes and marks in scrub fabric, so the top rarely looks new afterward. That's why every bulk order gets a free mockup with unlimited revisions: check each name, credential and placement there before production starts.

Is there a minimum for custom embroidered scrubs?

No. You can order one embroidered top for a new hire or outfit the whole practice. Setup fees are the same at any quantity and are charged once per design. Practices ordering 100+ pieces get a bulk quote with a dedicated account manager, a free mockup with unlimited revisions and our best volume pricing.
