• True fitted: a fully closed back sized to your head, sold in eighth-inch sizes. No strap, no gap, no adjustment. This is the classic on-field and streetwear fit.
• Stretch-fit (Flexfit-style): also closed-back, but with an elastic band woven into the sweatband and stretchy crown fabric. It's sold in banded sizes such as S/M and L/XL that each cover a range of head sizes.

Choose a true fitted for the sharpest look and an exact fit. Choose stretch-fit when you're ordering for a group and want fewer sizes to manage.

Wrap a soft tape measure around your head across the middle of the forehead and about a quarter inch above the ears, where a cap would sit. Note the measurement in inches or centimeters and match it below.

Between sizes? For a true fitted, go up, since a new crown relaxes slightly with wear but never grows. For stretch-fit, pick the band where your measurement sits in the middle.

The price per hat depends on the blank, quantity, stitch count, number of thread colors and how many placements you add. Each extra location, like a side number or back name, adds production time.

Caring for a Fitted Cap

Spot-clean with cool water and a mild detergent, using a soft brush on the crown. Skip bleach, fabric softener, the dryer and the dishwasher, since heat can shrink a fitted and warp the brim. Air-dry on a rolled towel or a hat form so the crown keeps its shape.
